I also met one notable person who TOLD me, in no uncertain terms, that as a Type 1 Diabetic I am also learning disabled. Take my word for it, I'm not. But, may I suggest you look to the diabetics for aid in your diet. The diabetic diet is not in anyway unusual, it is, strictly speaking, the ideal healthy diet for people whose lives depend on it. Weight Watchers bases their diet plans on the recommended diabetic diet. And to make it easy there are plenty of free websites devoted to diabetic concerns, including diet and recipes.
